Navigating the Candid website

There are 5 main sections to your buyer account:

  • Buyer HQ page: quick access to the Original Maine catalog and a snapshot of recent orders.

  • Invoices page: a home for all your invoices and quick pay options.

  • Orders page: a list of all of your orders with filters to help you find specific orders quickly.

  • Vendors page: clickable links to Original Maine’s catalog for fast ordering.

  • Settings page: account settings such as user emails, addresses, and notifications.

Note: After you create an account it's a good idea to set up your default shipping location(s). This will make it so that you can autofill your address onto orders and save time. You can save addresses under the Settings>Locations area of your account. You can also set up your order notifications under the Settings area.

We strongly recommend adding noreply@candidwholesale.com to your email address book. That way your order and invoice notifications don't go to spam accidentally!


How to create an order and send it to our team

 

Paying an invoice

Step 1 - Select or look up the Original Maine catalog

From your Vendors page click on Original Maine to place an order with us:

If you don't have Original Maine as a saved vendor, you can look us up by entering our name in the search bar seen here:

Step 2 - Browse our catalog and start a new order

To create a new order click "Start Order" seen in the upper right corner of the catalog:

Note: that you will be able to view our catalog while you are building the order!

Next, select products to add to the order:

Next, click select a product and then click the "Add To Order" button:

Next, enter a quantity and then click "Done":

Once you have selected products and entered quantities for everything, click on the "Send Order" button to send the order to our team:

On the next screen you will be asked to enter or select your delivery address. You also have the option to send a message to our team. Once you are done click the "Send Order" button:

The Original Maine team will then get an email notifying them that they have a new order from you. Our team will also be able to view the order in our Candid account.

While you're waiting for us to respond you will notice that your order status will be shown as an "Inquiry":

Final Steps

After you submit the order there's nothing for you to do next but wait for our team to send you shipping and invoicing details. We will respond very quickly to your order!

You can view all your orders and their current statuses from your "Orders" page:

If for some reason you don't hear back from our team right away, you can always send them a message directly through the order you just sent. Just click on the "Messages" tab to send us a question:

 

Invoices will be sent by email a few days after your order has shipped. You can view all outstanding and paid invoices by logging into your account. You can also see your order history for easier reordering. We prefer payment by check within 30 days. Please reach out to info@maineflagcompany.com if you'd like to set up an alternative payment arrangement.


Anything in stock typically ships within a week.

Anything out of stock typically ships between 4-6 weeks.

We do ship partial orders! (Unless your preference is otherwise). This means if you'd like something that is out of stock along with things that are in stock, please include the out-of-stock items in your order. This lets us know that there is a demand and that we need to make/print/create more! When the out-of-stock items are back, we'll let you know before we ship them to be sure that you still want them!

Depending on the size of the order, USPS will deliver across the state usually in 2-3 days, and is a reasonable rate. If there are multiple boxes, we use UPS. If you have your own shipping account that you would like us to use, let us know! Otherwise, we add the charge to the invoice.

Your shipment will contain a packing list (but usually not an invoice, this will be sent to you via e-mail or you can access it in Candid). If you have any questions/discrepancies, please reach out to our team at info@maineflagcompany.com
